This study takes stock of the progress made by the UN development cooperation system in implementing the Paris Declaration and considers the strengths of UN development cooperation with a view to a more effective division of labour in international development cooperation for which the Paris Declaration calls.

Furthermore, it analyses the report of the High-level Panel on System-wide Coherence in the light of the Paris Declaration.
