Background information
With the finalisation of the initial discussion note, Whither EC Aid has entered its consultation phase. The aim of this phase is to discuss the issues raised in the initial discussion note in order to generate more interactive and open discussions about the role and effectiveness of EC Aid. Together with our own research, the outcomes of the consultations will feed into the final report on Whither EC Aid.
The consultation phase takes a dual approach. Several roundtables and workshops are being organised among key stakeholders in Brussels, other European capitals, and at least three Southern countries. At the same time, this website aims to broaden the consultation by enlarging our audience and the possibilities for participation. It will be used to disseminate the project’s results and outputs, raise awareness, encourage inputs, and to provide additional information on the topic of EC aid effectiveness.
